I started my rowing with Athlunkard Boat Club in Limerick city and spent many happy days rowing on the Abbey river and the Head race. I finished rowing in UL with a successful intermediate /senior crew in the mid noughties. I am now the Novice coach in UL.This program is based on learning how to row while having a bit of fun doing it. While we still love to win races, the main aim of the NOV program is supply the senior program with 3/4 athlete’s each year that will hopefully go on to greater and bigger things. I am also staff member of the university for the last 30 years and am very proud of UL and ULRC.
